The refer a friend program is for new hosting accounts only. After the hosting account is activated your friend must fill out the form located on the refer-a-friend page. In order to receive payment, all of the information provided on this form must match your hosting account. For each approved referral you will receive a payment with the amount outlined on the refer-a-friend page.
Payment will only be approved for accounts that are active and in good standing. The referred customer must be new, and payment will not be approved if the referred customer already has an active or previous account with HostMetro. Payment will only be approved if the account information provided from the form matches completely with the account earning the referral money. The referred account must be active for 45 days before payment will be valid. After the referred account has been active for 45 days, the payment will be approved and processed to the respective paypal account of the referrer within 7 business days. Affiliates are not eligible to participate in the refer-a-friend program.
Customers who use a coupon other than the free domain coupon when signing up for a new account will not be eligible for the refer-a-friend program. In the event that the hosting account is credited to an affiliate of HostMetro, the account is not eligible for the refer-a-friend program. We are unable to pay both affiliates and friend referrals for one hosting account purchase.
Any and all changes to the Referral Terms will be updated on this page and supersedes the previous version. We suggest and encourage customers to review the Referral Terms periodically to ensure that it is up to their standards.
